We hope you’ll be inspired by the outstanding work made possible by your gifts to the Library Foundation and Friends.
We are thrilled to showcase the special public-private partnership we share with Teton County in supporting our Library. Our duo report for fiscal year 2024 features stories from library director Kip Roberson and staff, as well as highlights about the many programs, services, and enhancements your gifts to the Foundation and Friends provide. Working together, we make a greater impact!
Thank you for doing your part to foster literacy and lifelong learning, inspire creativity, and strengthen community.
Communities thrive when individuals have access to resources, people, and learning that allow them to become their best selves.
Through a highly effective public-private partnership, the Teton County Library and Library Foundation are able to provide a return on investment to the community of $6.21 in value for every $1.00 invested here.
Public dollars fund the cost of running library facilities, paying staff salaries, and providing a core collection of library materials. Through private donations small and large, the Foundation funds virtually everything else, including on- and off-site educational programs and events for all ages; expanded library collections; critical staff access to enhanced technology; key collaborations about community issues; and outreach to targeted populations such as youth, teens, seniors, and Latinos. The Foundation also supports continuing education for library staff, online database subscriptions, a volunteer income tax assistance program, and a library employee housing assistance fund.
